Dates
  • Red-shaded days are weekends or New South Wales public holidays. For 2024B, the public holidays will be October 7 (Labour Day), December 25 (Christmas day), December 26 (Boxing Day), January 1 (New Year's Day), January 27 (Australia Day).
  • Bright (B), grey (G) and dark (D) nights are colour coded with yellow, green, and blue respectively.
Conditions/notes:
F Fully supported nights. A support astronomer will be provided for programs that were awarded time through OPTICON and some paid time programs.
H Half night. Change halfway between 18-degree twilights.
R Remote observing available. Observations can be conducted from either the AAT, or remotely from approved remote observing sites. Remote observing is restricted to suitably experienced observers. Remote observing policy applies.
