Twelve for dinner
Astronomers are one step closer to revealing the properties of dark matter enveloping our Milky Way galaxy, thanks to a new map of twelve streams of stars orbiting within our Galactic halo.
New funding for the AAT
The Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT) Council is delighted to confirm continued operations for the Anglo-Australian Telescope with $9 million in funding from the Australian Government and nine Australian universities.
Starfest
Starfest is the annual Open Day of the Siding Spring Observatory (SSO) held on the October long weekend.
There are activities for all ages and tours for many telescopes including the 2.3m, Huntsman, Las Cambres and more.
